Last week, we ended with the birth of Benjamin Lawson. However, I was quickly distracted from baby things by the arrival of something far more exciting (for me), thanks to Mary building the first snowman of the Legacy.
OMG PINGU!!! Seriously, I was way too excited. I'd seen them in other legacies, but assumed that I would have to have pets as well for one to turn up. But no! PINGU!
YOU CAN PAT THE PINGUS!!!! Okay, I'm done now.
Benjamin aged up and became a disgustingly cute toddler. He was also the most well-behaved toddler I've ever had – no screaming for his food, no demanding of attention and easy achievement of all three toddler goals.
With the family growing, it was time for the house to grow as well. Now that there was a little more money in the family, I bought a larger block, and built a small house that would be easier to add onto. Unfortunately, that didn't leave enough money for both furniture and floors/wallpaper. Oh well. A Sim never died from a bit of grass underfoot ;)
Shameless Benji spam. He really was such an adorable toddler.
Remember the Garden Club representative? He took to stalking Amelie and randomly turning up at the house at least once a day. With a toddler to worry about and Mary out at work, however, Amelie usually just ignored the doorbell until he went away.
First pop of Amelie's second pregnancy! She didn't have morning sickness this time around, so I wasn't sure she was pregnant until the pop occurred.
MARY: Hi, Blondie. Wanna come join our Legacy if this new baby's a girl?
Amelie had struggled to become pregnant again, so before she had time to pop again, it was time for Benjamin to have a birthday.
OMG WHAT THE HELL IS THAT???
Oh thank God. It's amazing what the removal of a stupid expression and a change of hair-cut can do. As it turns out, child!Benji is no less adorable than toddler!Benji.
Y HELLO THAR
Amelie: Hello attractive teen that I intend to hook my son up with at a point in the not-too-distant-future!
What is it with Sim children and their being all emo about not getting an A+ on their very first day of school?
Amelie decides to have her second child in the nude. This is what happens when you go into labour the moment you get out of the shower, apparently.
Meet Brutus Lawson.
Uh-oh! This can only mean one thing...
That's right! Brutus's birthday! Or something ;)
Brutus is a desperately cute toddler, just like Benjamin was. He looks very similar, too, and has exactly the same personality point distribution.
Of course, it was only later that I read about "First Born Syndrome". Sigh.
Soon afterwards, Amelie popped again.
While Benjamin and Brutus are meant to be identical when it comes to personality, in reality, Brutus is far more of a handful. He's also a bad influence on his big brother...
Amelie's third pregnancy was a very hard one. It was extremely difficult just keeping her alive. Of course, with no money for a nanny, and Mary out at work, this meant that there was some very interesting parenting going on.
Benji was just way too cute as a child.
Finally, Amelie went into labour.
Well, that would explain the shocking pregnancy, I suppose. Dumping a newborn baby on the floor can only mean one thing...
Twins! No hacks or cheesecake were involved, so it came as quite a surprise. Benji thought it was pretty fantastic.
Meet Bethany Lawson. Once again, she has the same colouring as her mother.
And Bella Lawson. Again with the fair skin, black hair and green eyes.
Benjamin returns home from school with an A+ but is far more interested in the falling snow.
Another cute Benji shot. Okay, so perhaps I might just be playing favourites a little.
Oh, look. More Benji spam. But this one's different because there's a PINGU as well.
It's time for Brutus's birthday.
He's a real cutie, too, just like his brother...
...and when I say just like his brother, I really mean "almost exactly like his brother".
All four birthdays fell on the same day. Next up were the twins.
Bethany looks just like a female version of her brothers, and has the same personality yet again.
Thankfully, however, the twins broke the first born syndrome and Bella actually looks different to her siblings. She's either going to be gorgeous or hideous when she grows up, I think.
The much higher outgoing points and much lower nice points mean that she's a tantrum-heavy toddler, unlike her siblings.
Finally, it's Benjamin's turn to have a birthday. Wish to be cute, Benji!!!
O. M. G. WHUT??? How does such a cute kid become such an ugly teen? o.O
We'll leave the story here, as I mourn the lost of my heir apparent, because there's no way in hell that I'm letting those eyes be passed down the Legacy.
