When we left the Lawsons, fourth generation heir-spouse Darren was just going into labour.
And it's... twins! No surprise to me, given that I tend to feed my pregnant Sims cheesecake like it was going out of style.
Baby number one is Etienne. Red hair, brown eyes and the palest skin tone.
Baby number two is Elizabeth. She also has red hair and brown eyes, but has inherited Drusus's number two skin tone. So I finally got my redheaded babies I've been after since generation two!
Drusus immediately proved to be a great father. When he wasn't at work, he was taking care of his children's needs. Darren, however, was not born to be a parent, and spent most of his time watching television or cleaning the kitchen benches.
Or, yanno, watching Britannicus taking a dump.
As for Brit, he was continuing his inappropriate ways, swooning over Darren at every opportunity.
Catterick seemed to disapprove of the fact that there was milk in the house and it was being given to the babies instead of him.
So much Lucy-love :D
She and Celeste are still very much in love, and show it at ever opportunity.
After FAR too much crying, it was finally time for the babies to become toddlers.
OH DEAR GOD NO D: D: D:
Neat – 8
Outgoing – 9
Lazy – 4
Serious – 3
Nice – 10
I desperately hoped that Elizabeth wouldn't be a similar freak of nature.
Neat – 8
Outgoing – 9
Active – 9
Serious – 3
Grouchy – 1
Despite the complete and utter HIDEOUSNESS of his boychild, Drusus continued to be a good father to the twins.
Despite having two toddlers underfoot, he still found time to snog the maid. Brit and Castor seemed fairly unperturbed.
They were still rather... active... for seniors.
OH GOD, I BET HE EATS BRAINS.
It soon became time for Celeste and Lucy to become elders. One last look at gorgeous Celeste...
...and adorable Lucy.
Celeste is still damn hot as an old chick.
Grey hair suits Lucy less, but she still looks fairly good for her age.
And then, DRAMA in the Legacy house! I was annoyed with Darren for birthing hideous babies and refusing to do a thing to look after them, so I let Drusus sleep with Mahew the Manmaid with Darren in the house.
Darren, understandably, was not impressed...
...despite Drusus's excuses.
Luckily, super-grandmother Celeste was there to look after the twins.
Darren dealt with the betrayal by cleaning the house from top to toe and trimming every hedge in the garden.
He also spent hours writing in his diary about his marital woes.
Apparently Elizabeth had noticed Drusus's adulterous activities.
Meanwhile, Castor was chilling with his BFF Catterick. Still obsessed after all these years.
The time came for the twins to grow up again. Etienne went first...
...and remained utterly terrifying to look at.
Elizabeth soon followed suit...
...and looked marginally less eye-clawingly hideous.
I failed to mention that the reason I was so keen to have Drusus sleep with Mayhew was that I wanted some NON-REPULSIVE genes to be brought into the Legacy. Because the twins? SO not heir material.
Celeste and Lucy almost froze to death shagging in the hot tub in the middle of winter.
Brit and Castor were just as demonstrative as their daughter and her wife.
Etienne got an A+ on his second day of school. So at least he has brains, if not looks.
And then it was time for Castor to bid the Legacy farewell.
(Shameful admission: I cried. I knew I was going to get too attached if I started playing Legacies.)
Is there anything more heartbreaking than mourning pets? Catterick kept yowling long after the human family members had stopped mourning and gone on with their lives. Then again, he and Castor were pretty inseparable.
As in real life, birth and death were closely situated. Mere hours after losing his grandfather, Drusus went into labour.
Would the new addition/s to the Legacy be as terrifyingly ugly as Etienne? Find out next time ;)
